Dance Silly Goose Creative Dance offers training in Ballet, Tap, and Jazz. Our goal is to provide girls and boys with a dance education that will build his/ her self-confidence and nurture creativity. Under the direction of Julie Greely and Ryn Jones, Silly Goose has a combined 50 years of dance experience. Weekly classes are offered at UBC-CDC that will captivate your child. Through enjoyable activities and exercises appropriate for each age level, your child will gain experience with the elements of dance. Your child will also be able to understand dance terminology and identify the dance steps they are performing in his/ her combinations and routines.  Classes are available for children ages 3 years and older.
Tumbling Tumble Time offers a complete physical fitness program that combines developmental and motor sensory skills with games and music to make exercise and learning fun. Tumble Time has been teaching gymnastics and physical fitness to children since 1983 and has built quite a reputation for bringing one of the most innovative and unique programs to youngsters. They emphasize more than just age-appropriate tumbling. Their program is designed to help your child physically, mentally, and socially. Their philosophy is to teach gymnastics in a fun, safe environment and raise your child's self-esteem. Weekly classes are offered at UBC-CDC so that you will not have to worry about taking your child to another facility. Classes are available for children ages 2 years and older.

You have the opportunity to have your child's portrait made without having to pay the cost of sitting fees, schedule an appointment or travel to a studio. All sitting fees are waived for individual portraits. Portrait packages are available for immediate purchase upon your approval.

Individual portraits are scheduled seasonally:
 - Spring
 - Summer (beach scene)
 - Fall
 - Christmas (whole class pictures are available as pre-pay packages)

Summer Camp
University Baptist Church began it's Summer Camp program in June of 202.  Since then we have grown in leaps and bounds.  What started as a camp for 12 children has grown to service as many as 40 children.  Enrollment is open to University Baptist Church, families affiliated with the Child Development Center, and the Baton Rouge community.  We provide quality full-time care for children ages 5 to 9 in a Christian environment.  It is also lots of fun!

What the children love about Summer Camp
We offer 2 weeks of YMCA sponsored swim lessons, a week of gymnastics camp sponsored by Tumble Time, a week of computer camp sponsored by Compuquest, as well as many on site and off site activities.   Past weekly themes have included: Blass Off To Outer Space, Camp Christmas, Sports Fans, Under the Sea, Pirates of the Caribbean, Lights/Camera/Action, Cooking Camp, Romp Through the Rain Forest and the American West.
