Volunteers and paid workers provide extended teaching and childcare during our morning worship for our preschoolers through age 3.

Our four and five year old children join their parents during worship. During our worship service, The Gospel for Children is a time for preschool and children to gather at the front of the sanctuary for a special time just for them.

At the conclusion of the children's sermon, four year olds may then attend their own Extended Teaching Care time in the preschool suite staffed with volunteers and paid workers. They are also welcome to remain in the worship service with their families.

The preschool ministry is in need of volunteers to help facilitate Extended Teaching Care (ETC) for children ages 1-4 during both Sunday morning services.  If you are interested contact Kelli Blue at 766-9474 or children@ubc-br.org. 

To supplement our volunteer led preschool ministry and to offer additional programming, University Baptist Church employs a Childcare Ministry Coordinator and several Childcare Ministry Associates.

Our Childcare Ministry offers childcare during Sunday and Wednesday activities, as well as other scheduled activities requiring childcare. In addition to these activities, Parent's Night Out is a regular event staffed by our Childcare Ministry Staff.

A University Baptist Church Ministry that provides a Class A licensed year round, quality child care center for families of University Baptist Church and the community for children from ages six weeks to four years. All children are exposed to general Christian principles and concepts in a Christian environment.

The purpose of the CDC is to help children reach their optimal levels of development and to learn to work and play with others. Both infants and preschool children are helped to develop creative and inquiring minds, good relationships with people and a loving awareness of God.
