Nancy Garland, past chair of our Mother’s Day Out Board, has helped with the program since its inception in 2012. She was instrumental in coordinating the timing of the closing of the daycare to the opening of the Mother’s Day Out program. She volunteered weekly to rock and stroll babies in our infant room, the Baby Birds Class. If help was not needed in the Birds class, she eagerly accepted the request to help in another class. Because of her willingness to help in any area that needed assistance, Nancy was well versed in the whole center. Upon becoming a grandmother of a beautiful baby boy, Nancy requested some time off from volunteering weekly. We have been told we can still call her if we have any questions. Thank you Nancy for putting in so many tireless hours in helping our Mother’s Day Out become what it is today.
