Massar Retirement Party 2018

On May 6th, 2018, University Baptist Church commemorated the ministry of Mike and Lisa Massar. UBC members gathered in a celebration of gratitude for the Massar's six years of service to the church. In true Louisiana fashion, some members assembled a "Second Line" procession. In addition to being the lead pastor at UBC, Mike served diligently as a community advocate and Lisa directed the Mother's Day Out program for several years. Mike and Lisa have moved to Texas to be closer to their children and grandchildren.
