UBC’s annual Spring Gathering is right around the corner. This staple Palm Sunday Gathering is a wonderful space to foster community for UBC members, MDO families, and friends of our faith community.
This year’s Gathering will be taking an intergenerational turn, focusing on intentional activities for participants of all ages, including separate kids and adult egg hunts, a silent bake auction, an adults-only lawn game space, inflatables, and much more.
The Gathering will kick-off after worship with lunch and the silent bake auction in the Fellowship Hall. If you want to get ahead of the bidding, visit the bake auction table during the Coffee & Community time before worship. While the meal is free, we encourage you to bring your wallets ready to bid on some fantastic treats. The proceeds will benefit the Ecuador Mission Immersion.
Following lunch, there will be scheduled activities for all participants:
12:15 pm Free Play (Bounce House, Ring Toss, Duck fishing, Musical Chair, Rabbit Experience, & More)
12:50 pm Sack Races (kids, teens, & adults)
1:00 pm Adult Egg Hunt
1:10 pm Kids Egg Hunt
1:20 pm Free Play
Are you interested in entering the bake auction? We need a variety of treats. Items should be delivered to the Fellowship Hall by 9:00 am. We want to give people a chance to bid during the Community & Coffee time before worship. After labeling the item with your name and the name of the treat, place it on the collection table. Please sign up for the auction through the office here: click here
We need volunteers to make the Gathering a reality. Sign up to help set-up activities (9:00 am), manage one of the following activities from 12:10-12:50 pm or 1:20-1:45 pm (inflatables, games, bunny petting station, face prints, adult lawn games), or help with clean up at 1:45 pm.
We hope you will invite others to join you at the Gathering. What a great way to introduce people to the UBC faith community!
