Over the last several weeks, we have attempted to stay connected emotionally and spiritually, while physical proximity is not recommended. Video conferencing, phone calls, live streaming worship, daily check-in calls, interactive social media posts are great ways to connect, but they are limiting.
As we look to a time where we might all might be back together as a faith community, is there any better way than over a table of boiled crawfish? At least in South Louisiana, this is what we know how to do well.
We are tentatively hosting a church-wide Crawfish Boil on Sunday, May 3rd.
We will have live music, lawn games, and healthy conversations all over these beautiful crustaceans. The Gathering will take place in the front parking lot.
A Gathering welcome table will collect $15 per adult and $10 per child (ages 3-11) as you go through the food line. Exact change or checks made out to University Baptist Church is preferable.
