Revised COVID-19 Response Resources - April 9

Unusual Times Call for Unusual Measures

We find ourselves in unusual times. While we can never predict the crises in our lives and world, God does prepare us for such a time as this. The church ministerial and congregational leadership are continuing to explore ways to care for our faith community emotionally and spiritually when physical proximity is not recommended. We hope to foster a sense of connectedness during this crisis.

Since experts have advised against meeting in groups of 10 or more, you will have the

opportunity to connect with other members via phone calls and video calls. All weekly meetings and events have been postponed for several weeks.

The following is a guide on how you can stay connected to your Sunday School and Spiritual Formation classes, experience Sunday Worship, receive pastoral and diaconate care, and stay up-to-date with the latest from UBC.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ.

– 2 Corinthians 1:3-5
