The Family Tree Cafe and Indoor Play, run by University Baptist Church in its fellowship hall, may be the best kept secret in south Baton Rouge.
The clean, fun play area is the perfect respite from the rain, heat, cold or bugs, and my daughters and I always have a great time when we visit. With a train room, LEGO room, books, slide, baby dolls, play kitchen and more, my preschooler especially can stay busy and play, play, play!
I appreciate the fellowship with other moms, and I've made and strengthened friendships at the cafe. Free coffee, WiFi and bathrooms take care of all my needs! Even though I'm not a member of UBC (we have a home church elsewhere), I always feel welcomed, cared for and loved. The Family Tree Cafe and Indoor Play is an incredible ministry, and my girls and I appreciate it so!
