International Mission Immersion Next Steps

Updated: Nov 27, 2018

We have zeroed in our next steps for the 2019 International Mission Immersion. We will be heading to the country of Ecuador for a seven day experience of serving alongside the people of the Andes Mountains by building water-filtration systems, providing basic medical care and hygiene clinics, working with children, and some construction work.

In collaboration with Rescate Ecuador, Andy has ventured to Ecuador for eight large group mission immersions. We feel confident in the healthy communication and system our team will be working in.

This is a provide and easy international experience for participants of all ages and abilities.

We need your help to help us narrow down the specific dates for the trip. Please take a few minutes to complete this Doodle survey with your availability for 2019: https://doodle.com/poll/qyprawz9hehvmgfr

Once the date is finalized, we will collect a $100 non-refundable deposit due by January 16. The deposit will be used to book your flight for the trip.

While the trip will cost between $1,200-1,500, our hope is to do significant fundraising for the trip to make it cost effective for all.  Please do not let finances be the reason that you cannot participate in the work of God.

If you do not have a passport, please start the process of apply for one now. If you already have a passport, please check its expiration date.

Additionally, we hope to recruit medical staff to join us on the trip. If you know of someone capable of helping us with medical and/or dental clinics, please be sure to invite them to participate.

Our next steps meeting will be on January 16 at 6:30pm, with dinner provided. Please contact andy@ubc-br.org with any questions and to confirm your participation in the January 16 meeting.
