Cindy Ramagos, a teacher and curriculum director in our Mothers' Day Out program has worked in the field of Early Childhood for over 35 years. She was the Southern Early Childhood Association's (SECA) Outstanding member in 2016. Cindy was nominated by the Louisiana Early Childhood Association and recognized by the SECA
Board of Directors for her dedication and commitment to both LAECA and SECA. In 1989 she became a member of the LAECA Board of Directors and served as President from 2004-2006. She then represented LAECA on the SECA Board of Directors from 2008-2011.
During that time she participated on the Leadership Commission of the SECA Board and helped to create The Leadership Letter, a resource for affiliate boards and leadership groups. In 2006, she was recognized by LAECA with the Mildred Southern Award.
Professionally, Cindy served as a Language Therapist, Pre-K teacher and an Educational Consultant for the Louisiana Department of Education. Cindy and her husband, Mickey are the proud grandparents of Bryson (6) and Gracie Ramagos (4). She enjoys working with the children, teachers, and parents here at University Baptist Church.
