Dear UBC members and MDO families,
On behalf of the Mother’s Day Out Board, I am pleased to announce that Amber Authement is joining our church family as the new Director of our MDO program. We are delighted to have Amber take the reigns as she processes an enthusiasm for education that is contagious. We believe Amber is a perfect fit for UBC and that she will strengthen and enhance our already successful program by being a gifted motivator for our children, an effective leader for our teachers and a strong recruiter for our school.
Amber has an education degree from Louisiana Tech University combined with years of classroom experience. Additionally, she is the Assistant Director at her current school so she will guide our MDO program with her expertise in both education and administrative areas. Amber received unanimous votes from the MDO Board, the Personnel Committee and the Governing Board.
We are excited about the many gifts that Amber will bring to UBC. Andy, his staff and the MDO Board are all looking forward to working with her. Please join us in welcoming Amber and her family.
