75TH ANNIVERSARY: A HUGE SUCCESS!

It's safe to say that our 75th Anniversary celebration was a huge success! At least 230 people were on campus for the day's events, and the building was filled with laughter as we thanked God for the gift of University Baptist Church - past, present and future!

Photos from the day, as well as videos of worship and the memories slideshow, are now available on the church's website on the anniversary page - www.ubc-br.org/75.

Thanks to so many who made this day a success! It took all of us working together - planning the meals and events, helping with the clean-up and decorating around campus, participating in worship, bringing food, donating photos and stories... the list goes on and on. God's work at UBC was lifted up on that special day, and every one of you was a part. Thank you!

Highland Elementary: Reading Friends

Our ongoing partnership with Highland Elementary

is a unique and special relationship!

We are looking for volunteers willing to share time as a Reading Friend.

For 30-45 minutes each week, you can invest in the life of an elementary-aged student by reading with them. Organized through Volunteers in Public Schools (VIPS), this established program has made a difference in the lives of students all over the city-parish... simply by spending intentional time sitting with a child to encourage and read together.
