the calling of Tanya and Jon Parks as co-pastors for our congregation.
University Baptist Church of Baton Rouge is thrilled to announce
the calling of Tanya and Jon Parks as co-pastors for our congregation.
Tanya first came to our congregation as Minister of Children and Retirees two years ago after she and Jon had served the previous nine years in Slovakia as CBF field personnel. For the past year, Jon has filled the Interim Administrative Pastor role at UBC while also serving as the Executive Director of the Interfaith Federation of Greater Baton Rouge.
Tanya and Jon will share the role of pastoring our congregation while continuing aspects of their previous roles. Tanya will continue some of her work with the children and retirees and Jon will continue his work with the Interfaith Federation through a part-time position.
We look forward to Tanya and Jon’s leadership and
give thanks for all that God has in store for UBC.
