We are heading into the cold months of the year, with many more people experiencing suffering and homeliness now more than ever. Knowing this, UBC is working to distribute essential winter items to the community through a Giving Warmth initiative.
Donate $25 towards a winter kit (set of gloves, socks, a scarf, and hat) or $140 toward a winter coat that converts into a sleeping bag.
If you would like to purchase the winter kit items, please bundle them together in a grocery bag and drop them off at the office, Monday-Thursday 9 am to 4 pm, or on Sundays.
As donations and kits come in, we will begin distributing through Open Air Ministries, with the project completing on January 10th.
